MOTHER´S DAY CRAFT

Mother´s day (May, 3rd) is coming and all your moms are making a bigger effort than normal to work and to take care of us. They deserve the best. We know you don´t have enough material to do an amazing present, so I will offer to you something easy, simple but with a lot of love.

The idea is to make a special card with flowers in a pot with cardboard.

Materials: cardboard or paper in different colours, scissors, glue stick, cello and some others to do shapes (tuna can, bottle cap).

Steps: 

1) Pick up some cardboards or paper in colours. The more you use, the better.

2) Choose your mom´s favourite colour and fold the sheet in a half, like in my example. I have chosen the pink one.

3) Let´s do the pot first. Pick up another sheet and cut a big rectangle shape, like this:

4) We fold the bottom of the "pot" and paste with cello.

5) With a ruler or another pencil, straight lines to make the stems of the plants.

6) Now, let´s make the flowers with circles in different colours. You will need different round objects, like these:

7) Cut out the circle shapes with the scissors carefully.

 8) When finish, paste the smaller circles on biggers with different colours and paste the stems.

9) This is the final result. Now, use your colours and markers to write a special message like this: I love you mom, you are my sun!

Decorate with pictures and another materials if you have. You can reuse other pieces of cardboard, newspaper or whatever!
